Lenovo IdeaCentre 600 is believed to be the world’s thinnest all-in-one desktop PC, with it’s 21.5 inch frameless screen. It’s a powerful desktop PC supporting most of the high specifications that you can think of, which could be an alternative choice for those who don’t like the Apple iMac. One of the cool feature not to miss is the 4-in-1 optional remote controller, which functions as an airmouse, Skype VOIP handset, media centre/TV remote and accelerometer controller for games, quite different from a typical iMac’s volume / play / pause Frontrow remote. It’s fantastic news for entertainment and gaming enthusiants. The standard price is to start at $999.
Remember our previous post about the concept of dream iPhone Pro? Now here is another version of the iPhone Pro from Mat, as Apple is unlikely to release an iPhone with a physical sliding Keyboard. Mat has created a potential physical keyboard accessory for those people who hate touch screens. The keyboard looks simple but blending nicely with the iPhone itself. It is a much smaller and portable keyboard compare to the one which is available on the market (produced by BTKeyMini). Just in case you didn’t know about it, click here to our previous post about that keyboard.
Just to follow up with you the gallery on Apple’s latest MacBook Pro release at MacWorld ’09, we have the video which explains how this new amazing technology works.
Well, no netbook from Apple but we have at least got something! The new Macbook Pro is now available for pre order from the Apple store worldwide. MacBook Pro is the improved version of the old MacBook. The first noticeable difference is the size of the screen, upgraded to 17 inches, with a unibody aluminum build and a high-capacity lithium polymer battery.
iPhoto has been updated with two features called “Faces” and “Places.” Faces, as you may have guessed, lets you tag photos by subjects’ faces, similar to what Facebook and Picasa have done. iPhoto makes its best guess as to the identity of a subject based on previous tags and asks for confirmation, which is pretty innovative!
Places allows for geotagging of photos. Some cameras and the iPhone 3G will use GPS information to tag photos. iPhoto then organizes those photos by location, or “place.” Also, Flickr and Facebook support are built-in. Those without GPS access can retro-tag photos by hand.

There’s been quite alot going on at Macworld, we’re aiming to bring you the very best and the essense of it all
At Macworld today the new iLife ’09 was revealed and one of the applications that make apart of iLife is iMovie. I’m not sure how many of you have used it before since it’s not the easiest of all video / clip making softwares, but we have used it to make a few videos over at our YouTube channel. The new iMovie features precision editing, advanced drag and drop, animated travel maps, and image stabilization. With the new iMovie you can grab audio from another clip then add it to a different clip easily. You can view your projects in a thumbnail view as opposed to the iPhoto ‘08. Image stabilization is said to be really nice but slow to correct, but worth every penny. You can now add effects to your videos and also add slow motion to any clip. There are updated themes and many more great new features!
Did you think Sony’s new PSP 3000 wasn’t hackable? Think again, Datel has released a gadget, well a battery actually called the Lite Blue Tool. It’s essentially a smart battery that clones Sony lab equipment to put the PSP 2000 and PSP 3000 into Service Mode. From this mode, users are approaching the PSP with the access of a Sony engineer and can load old, cracked firmware that’s open to run homebrew applications and softwares. You can buy the Lite Blue Tool at various places online such as here. But there’s always an alternative of getting it on eBay, etc…
