This is the Samsung Show and it’s the Korean’s first attempt at a projector phone, the candybar style phone may appear a little on the bulky side and runs Samsung’s proprietary OS.

The main specs will be released over the next week but we do know that the Samsung Show features support for Korea’s DMB-T digital TV system, uses Samsung’s TouchWIZ user interface, uses DLP projection technology from Texas Instruments and it’s got an OLED touchscreen display and a 5-megapixel camera – not bad at all!

Gallery: Dell Inspiron Mini 10 comes with GPS

On January 13, 2009, in Laptops / Computers, by Admin Staff

Here comes another very glossy Inspiron Mini from Dell. The Mini 10 is a 10-inch deal powered by an Intel Atom Z530 processor running at 1.6GHz, with a glass screen, a multi-touch trackpad with gesture support, built-in GPS, 802.11n Wi-Fi, mobile broadband and even an integrated TV tuner.

That glossy 10-inch display can show 720p high-definition content, and the screen itself is a widescreen 16:9 model. An edge-to-edge keyboard helps take advantage of what little typing space is available on a laptop this size, so all being well the Mini 10 won’t be out of the question for speedy typists!

Dell didn’t release much other details at its press conference, but we’d expect Windows Vista or Windows XP on board to be likely, a couple of gigabytes of RAM and a solid-state disk option, just like the Dell Inspiron Mini 9. No prices or availability details yet, but we’ll keep you posted.

As an update to Samsung’s popular P2, the P3 shares many of its predecessor’s features, including a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen, DNSe sound enhancement, audio and video playback, photo viewer, FM radio, voice recording and Bluetooth capabilities such as phone pairing and stereo audio streaming.

Unlike the P2, the Samsung P3 uses a colourful new user interface – EmoTure that emphasises personalisation, which is not often seen in portable media players. The body of the P3 is made from die-cast metal, available in black or silver, measuring just 0.39-inch thick. P3 users also get treated to Haptic feedback on the touchscreen, offering a little reassuring vibration whenever a menu item is selected.

The P3 will be available in the first half of 2009 in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB storage capacities. No final word on pricing, but current P2 pricing should give an idea of what to expect.

On January 12, 2009, in Laptops / Computers, by Admin Staff

It was tipped at the end of last year to be Dell’s bid to challenge Apple’s MacBook Air (which I don’t feel was really necessary, but anyway!). Dell has been quite secretive about the Adamo, it’s now finally been revealed, the Dell Adamo is an ultra thin laptop with a brilliant aluminum chassis finish. Final specs are still not availalbe yet! But don’t worry, we’ll update you ASAP.

For some who didn’t believe Powermat could really charge our gadgets wirelessly, here’s a video of it in action. I too was a tiny bit skeptical about all this, I never thought this was possible, but they have now done it at a CES demonstration for Engadget.

Powermat gadget chargers consists of a no conductive charging mat and a series of adapters which you can either plug into your gadget, or you can add a case to your gadget, which charges it via the charging mat without any wires.
