Now this is quite special, apparently not involving any latest tech. Simply done by scanning the barcode on the side of the Lego box you’re holding next to the Lego Digital Box, it will then show you in 3D what your model will look like once completed.

I suppose, its just a computer programmed with the design already in its system and linked to the Lego model’s barcode, but very neat and saves many unwanted Lego gifts – not that I’ve ever received any Legos that I didn’t want! Too bad its only in Germany at the moment, but I’m sure we’ll get to play with it soon elsewhere.
