Latest geeky gadgets – 3.5 inch floppy CD-Rs

On January 15, 2009, in Gadgets, Geeky, by Admin Staff

I never imagined someone would create anything like this. This us a Floppy design CD-R disc, though it looks like our standard retro 3.5″ floppy, it actually is a CD-R which can fit nicely into your drive.

Since it’s square, it won’t be able to hold the standard CD-R amount of memory capacity, but 200MB is still 138 times more than the original floppy!

It does cost $10 and a 4-pack will cost you $28, so the good news is you can save some money buying more than one! :)

Damn, that’s slick. The floppy got an upgrade. I wonder how reliable this kind is.
