It wasn’t very long along ago that we learnt Microsoft’s latest operating system Windows 7 Beta 1 (Build 7000) had been leaked and had hit bittorrent allow thousands of people to start downloading. Not very long later even the trial for use limitation also got hacked. Now guess what? Microsoft is letting everyone have a piece of it, well 2.5 million of you that is and you can head over to download it now.

As mentioned, it is completely free to download but is based on a first come first serve basis (the moment you are reading this, people are already downloading!) and there are only 2.5 million copies available. Once you head over, there will be 2 versions available to download, a 32 bit version and a 64 bit version.

This downloadable Windows 7 Beta will expire on August 1st 2009, installing it as your primary OS is not really recommended. But if you’re a Mac user, then you can take advantage of using softwares like WMware Fusion which makes it alot easier to handle should you want to remove it after trying.
