My regular home network charges me about $1 a minute to call from abroad but I can pick up a SIM card in the supermarket that will enable me to make calls for 10c a minute when I'm abroad. The catch is that the supermarket SIM charges me $1 to make calls at home! Up to now I've been carrying two phones but this is a real pain.
