Gallery: Nokia N97 vs Apple iPhone

Posted on December 5th, 2008 by Editorial Staff in Cell Phones

The Apple iPhone has established itself as the gold standard for comparison between other new and upcoming smartphones. There is no doubt why this photoshoot was done, Nokia’s latest N series flagship N97 is packed full of hafty specs, not to say the least it’s got a 32 GB of internal storage, support for microSD and a much more powerful 5 megapixel camera.

  • Personally owned a Nokia N95 and loved it.

My only gripe with it is the lack of QWERTY'ness which makes my mobile MSN/Texting much more of a chore. iPhone qwerty is a joy to use.
  • Nokia just makes better phones in general but there is price to be paid for such quality which is the reason why I don't owned one.
  • Sizewise there is very little difference, witht the QWERTY keyboard swinging the vote in Nokia's favour in my opinion. Brand Junkies might still prefer the Apple offering though....
  • I think having a QWERTY keyboard gives me the biggest dilema, though when you think of all the apps you can get for the iPhone, it pretty much solves the problem.
  • I betcha that the next incarnation of the iPhone will have a QWERTY keyboard, and that should just settle that ;-)
