Hey folks, some exciting things have been going on here at GadgetLite. We’re in the middle of unboxing the brand new Dell Inspiron Mini 9 (Vodafone version) which we received for a review over the weekend (thanks Chris for sending it in so promptly!).

Because our new best friend is the Vodafone version this means it has the 8GB SSD and not the 16GB SSD which you can order directly from Dell UK. Though if you’re into netbooks, you may have heard that those in the US can now have the option to upgrade their SSD up to 32GB for just $100, which is an absolute bargain and would make this ultra lightweight netbook even more appealing!

Here are some pics so far, you will notice that we haven’t yet taken any pictures of the netbook with the lid opened up, that’s because we’re saving them for our upcoming review, so stay tuned!
