Video: Sit in this earthquake simulator and feel the tremble!

Posted on October 15th, 2008 by Editorial Staff in Latest News, Robotics, Technology

Check out this latest in ’simulating’ technology which is currently being featured at the Tokyo Game Show 2008. Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 3, which I believe just means earthquake simulator in plain human language, can really shake!

It’s capable of going up to Shindo 7 which represents the strongest earthquake you could possibly ever experience. This is a great tool I suppose from an educational perspective, for those especially children in high risk earthquake areas who have never experienced an earthquake, teach them what it’s like. There you go, another excuse to go on the simulator if you’re in Tokyo!
