This unique and in my view very awesome-looking creation from Nicolas Lehotzky has a sublime look with the main emphasis of its concept on safety. The concept notebook is equipped with hidden USB ports and as you can see it also features a knob integrated with security features.

The integrated security knob on the notebook’s frame is fingerprint activated, which allows the laptop to respond only to the owner’s touch, working as a physical lock. The laptop has a built-in paper shredder too! And as you will have guessed, the hidden USB ports prevents it from any unwanted data downloads, so any unauthorised USB flash drives trying to penetrate its way into this laptop’s system can be disregarded – unless it uses Windows :P But all in all, it looks like a neat design!

Thanks for publishing this. Theft is an billion dollar problem, nearly 1 out of 10 laptops is stolen, yet anti-theft devices are rarely incorporated into laptops. I wanted to explore new solutions for future products. Granted, some of them might be over the top, but I hope they might lead to other ideas.

    Thank you.
