Hulger Pappa*Phone: The world’s first wooden VoIP phone, retro style!

Posted on September 12th, 2008 by Editorial Staff in Featured, Gadgets, Technology

Hulger has launched the latest Pappa*Phone which at $300 (€225), they are calling it the retrophone of the future. The title that’s been claimed for the phone is the world’s first “wooden” VoIP phone. I suppose that’s not a very difficult title to claim as not alot of people care about phones made of wood these days.

Anyway, the Pappa*Phones are hand crafted from a single piece of American Walnut and solid brass by the montreal based studio. The phone is USB based and works on both Mac and PC and can work with VoIP services like Skype, iChat, Yahoo, etc… Each phone is hand-made to order from a single piece of wood.
