Cool NES DIY lunchbox: A little something for our younger readers…

Posted on August 29th, 2008 by Editorial Staff in Gadgets, Gaming, Geeky, Tips and Tutorials

It’s almost that time of the year, back to school once again but before all that summer fun vanishes completely, here’s a little something to boost your fun factor and to get prepared for your first day back. If you’ve got an old NES lying around, maybe it’s your dads’ first game console, you might want to ask for his permission before doing this little DIY.

As you can see, this trick turns the old NES’s boxed shape plastic case into an attractive geeky lunchbox, it’s a great idea, it’s large in size, holds all your snacks and it really doesn’t require much tool to convert. In fact nothing that you don’t already have lying around at home. Here are some pics to check out…

If you’re interested in making some jealous friends this school term, head over to Instructables to get going, it should take you round about two hour to do…

  • Oh bless. Although I don't remember that the console was very big so probably won't hold so much.

It is very cute though, which deserves merit :)

I think it's a great way to encourage kids to actually do something these days and not just sit around in front of their computers and chat with strangers over the internet!
