Volkswagon had not planned on revealing their famous and unique sixth generation Golf this soon but thanks (or no thanks VW would say) to the internet it’s been leaked! Leaked so soon that we haven’t actually got much to tell you about it, but we have got some nice pics.

With limited info at the moment, we can tell you that the range of engines which will be available with the new Golf VI will include a 1.4L TSI, 1.8L TFSI and some blogs are saying maybe even the 2.0L TFSI. While for diesels, there will of course be the company’s 1.9L and 2.0L TDI motors. The previous, fifth generation Golf was one of my favourite hatchbacks here in Britain, primarily because it was comfortable but at the same time offered the specs that outweighed many other sporty hatchbacks and it was absolutely stunning to look at. However, this one, I’m not too convinced, it seemed to have lost that distinctive appearance that I used to enjoy with the old one, though the one pictured does appear to have had suspensions lowered, I wouldn’t exactly say that it is appealling.
