Recently at the Panasonic Center, the company featured their latest product in the field of wall-mounted surface computing, the Digital Wall, the name may sound like a joke, but it definitely isn’t a mock up! As you will see in the video below, the screen performs well in terms of responsiveness and quality, just like Microsoft’s Surface PC. The Digital Wall has also been said to be considerably cheaper which is what all consumers will want these days, the only down side is that the Digital Wall isn’t multi-touch – that’s ashame especially when its got such a large screen! No further info as yet, but we’ll keep you updated.

    Expect to be surrounded by big screens in future. Bigger and thinner. Soon we will have building panels with integrated screens that will serve as both structural members and information displays.
