Is it a car or is it a bike? There is probably still much debate on whether the MonoTracer should be classed as a bike, on the other hand, if it should be a car, then does it need training wheels? Well I can certainly assure you now that it doesn’t need any wheels to help it maintain balance for turns or straight roads but from the video I embedded below, it does seem that it has wheels that spring down from either sides to stop it from falling over when it parks!
The MonoTracer is highly capable of doing some quality speeds with its 130-horsepower BMW K1200 bike engine, speeds reaching as high as 155 miles per hour to be precise! After watching the video, I felt its design made it much more longer than any normal bike. The inside of it doesn’t necessary give you alot more space apart from having a proper driver seat which does seem quite comfortable, it is still a one passenger carrier vehicle. Continue reading »
This “robochair”, developed by engineer Tsuyoshi Horo at Tokyo University, monitors you digitally with eight cameras and creates a 3D model of your body on screen. By pointing your hand / finger in a particular direction, the cameras will recognize the shape as an instruction, sending commands to the robot-chair to respond to your gesture.
Here’s a video showing how the human body is recognised, its pretty cool… Continue reading »
And in this video, the Robochair itself is given instructions by the person sitting on it…
Check out this latest laptop concept from Fujitsu, not much technical information is known about it at the moment, it seems Fujitsu is now heading towards the trend and likes of several other firms in an attempt to construct more ‘natural’ looking products. But to carry this around certainly makes you look very mature!
I’ve always wondered what anyone should do if these things overheat, would it need extra fans or something, any ideas?

We don’t show Fifth Gear videos often but since Top Gear isn’t back yet, it’ll have to do, actually this review isn’t too bad. Both these cars topped my list when I was hunting for a super-mini a few months ago. Though Mini’s have always been rated highly for their quality as a mini city runabout here in the UK, the Fiat 500 has also been one worth considering, simply because of its good looks, what you can get under the bonnet and the interior for a price considerably less than the Mini!
Enjoy the video…

Some developers have managed to get Google Android Beta running on the Windows Mobile based HTC TyTN II smartphone (also known to many as the AT&T Tilt) and I have to say I’m quite looking forward to having something like it on my phone in the future!
Here’s a quick video…
It’s iPhone OS 2.0 build 5A240d to be absolutely precise, Apple has now released this latest OS 2.0 to authorized developers and it’s believed that some new functions have been added, these include:
- Contact search function
- Ability to recognise YouTube videos that have been embedded into webpages (really needed this!)
The contacts search function works much like iTunes search, giving you a live-refining list of result.

As for the YouTube update, its brought about by the addition of a YouTube plug-in for MobileSafari included with iPhone OS 2.0.

Tame is a concept gadget that bosses around your other gadgets! It allows you to set an away message such as “I can’t answer your call right now, I’m busy” for your phone for example, this is then synced with all of your devices and applications so that you don’t need to do it manually yourself!

You can store messages on each face, and when you need to change your status, just rotate the cube to the desired face. Besides a written message, Tame uses a red-yellow-green color coding system to let people know at a glance if they can contact you.
