Ever thought about having a sat nav that showed you real images rather than animated 2D/3D ones? NDrive did, and its going to be the world’s first, their latest sat navs, the G280 and G800 will be the first to add some reality to your computer guided driving experience.
NDrive thinks by adding photo mapping to their sat nav, this will ‘heighten the senses’ and make it easier to see where you are and where you are heading. I agree with this and I think this will be a benefit, I use a TomTom Go myself when I need to go to places I’ve never been and sometimes it just completely confuses me as to where it wants me to turn, especially on smaller roads (but that might just be me!). The NDrive’s 3D photo mapping system will feature 5 different perspectives – 4 diagonal perspectives plus a bird’s eye view. The intuitive system will automatically choose the best perspective for you whilst navigating.
The G280 and G800 will feature visual and audible speed camera alerts, points of interest and UK/Ireland Tele Atlas maps on an 8GB memory card. European maps are also available on separate cards. The G800 has a larger screen (4-inch compared to 3.5-inch) as well as Bluetooth and an FM transmitter. Both feature a media player.
The G280 and G800 will be available at the end of April from Smart Devices, priced at £199 and £315 respectively.

Would you fancy a 24 karat gold plated MacBook Air with a bejeweled version of the classic rainbow Apple? I have to say it’s great to look at, especially if you’re obsessed with gold! But I don’t see how this MacBook Air will be practical in anyway, would be too worried about damaging it or scratching it, nevermind what goes on inside! The Air within is just a standard 1.6ghz/2gb/80GB which costs at most $1,799 USD on the Apple Store and even cheaper if you find it elsewhere like Amazon or eBay, but for a 24k gold plated one, you would be looking at $5000 USD…

Obviously adding weight to the MacBook Air is an issue because lightweight is its main selling point, however, according to Gizmodo who talked with Alex Wiley from Computer Choppers…
The weight hasn’t noticeably changed since it’s plating. The jewelry may add an ounce or two if that. Diamonds and jewelry depend on what the customer asks for, the rainbow is 14kt gold with 3.8ctw sapphires adds another $3000 USD.
How geeky are you? Show off your true geeky potential by having your dog wear one of these! LED dog tags, like most LED gadgets these days, they’re animated and customisable.

The original ones which were introduced sometime earlier were red, now the latest ones that have just come up are in blue and are only available in limited quantities!

They can be programmed to say whatever you want with a maximum of 256 characters. The Tagz is able to scroll both capital or lowercase letters, numbers and various symbols. You also have the ability to change the speed and luminosity as well as storing up to 6 different messages.
Check out this laser virtual keyboard which connects via bluetooth, the laser from a laser projecting device that is connected to your PC / Desktop is displayed in the form of a keyboard layout. The keyboard can be displayed on any type of surface (wow!) and I think what is clever about it as you will see in the video, is that touching the keys will give you a sound feedback letting you know an input has been sent whereas just placing your hand over the keys without touching the surface won’t induce any input or recognition!

This is a quick post to say that iPhone Dev Team have released 1.1 version of their Pwnage Tool. For those who aren’t too familiar with what it actually is, in a quick summary, the iPhone Pwnage tool can be used to flash your iPhone with custom iPhone firmware so that you can jailbreak it to install and run any of your favorite native iPhone application as well to activate and unlock your iPhone to use it in any compatible GSM networks.
So what’s new about this version 1.1? However, it’s said that the iPhone firmware 2.0+ support in this beta version of winpwn has been disabled and more work still needs to be done, “since it’s still buggy”.
The latest version of the PwnageTool includes support for pre-release iPhone firmware 2.0 beta (5A240d) and also includes the EDGE settings fix for iPhone 1.1.4 firmware.
The new feature of PwnageTool 1.1 are mentioned below:
