Did you know you could make good use of your iPhone’s brilliant touch screen function by turning it into a wireless remote / mouse for your computer? The most recently released application, the Touchpad App helps you with this trick. It turns your iPhone into a wireless, remote trackpad, which gives you direct access to your computer as if you were using a mouse or touch device for input.

You can move the mouse, click, double-click, and even drag. Vertical scrolling is even possible, by click-and-dragging on the right edge of the iPhone screen. Which means it will do everything that a computer mouse has to offer.

To have this brilliant application on board, you have need to have an iPhone that has been jailbroken and the 1.1.3 jailbreak is what you need if you haven’t unlocked your iPhone already.

With the advance in technology nowadays, the incorporation of high tech cameras capable of slowing down videos and images by at least 80 times along with film photography has proven to be very useful. Not only does this allow fast motion videos captured to be displayed with great detail but it has also allowed more understanding of how some of the fastest animals on the planet move.

Could this be Sony’s PSP phone / PSPhone???

Here’s another concept idea of what Sony could be producing if they were to be combining the PSP with a mobile phone – the PSP phone or PSPhone:

According to the artistic impression above, it’s supposed to feature a widescreen 3-inch (480 x 272) display, PSP functionality via M2 card slot, dual-slide design, and a functional gamepad.

If you’re iPhone has been in the rain or if you accidentally spilled a glass of water over it, you would probably be interested to know if any of the hardware inside has been damaged. Even if it was just a one of clumsy occasion you would still want to know if you’re covered by the warranty if anything bad happens.

Well recently Apple updated their guide on “how to verify iPhone hardware is working correctly”, and in this article the section on liquid damage was updated.

Apple unveils 2GB iPod Shuffle + price cut on 1GB shuffles…

It’s about time! Apple has finally decided to up their game by putting on an extra one gigabyte onto the iPod Shuffle. Apple’s press release today says they will soon be retailing the latest 2GB editions of the Shuffle by later this month while price cuts on the existing 1GB iPod Shuffles will take place immediately.
