Here’s possible an answer to your question, Motorola’s latest patent has revealed the “User Interface System”, a device with a foldable roll-up display and keypad.

What we all understand about things that can fold is that usually materials that offer such ability don’t offer very the device much functionality. But Motorola has solved this problem, they figured out a solution to the problem by using a reservoir with electrorheological fluid beneath the foldable parts of the device. When an electrical charge is applied to the material, it becomes rigid!

    Hmm…fold up mobile? Have to see if it is practical or not when they make and release such a model.

    Thanks Serena and I-martian for your comments, yes it doesn’t appeal to me as much as other phones that I see, I think mainly because it’s just so unrealistic?
