This is hilarious, saw this post while stumbling through Engadget, it appears that a man (Boring Trash) has posted in his blog saying his IBM ThinkPad R50e “tried to kill” him. His three-year-old laptop which exploded, completely took out a big chunk of his bed as pictured, BoringTrash says he had been using the end of his bed as a desk for four weeks with no problem whatsoever, wonder what made his friendly companion so fed up?
The most funny thing is, the laptop still works when plugged into an external display! While many feel skeptical about this and that the pictures don’t match the explosion of a laptop, BoringTrash just feels lucky to be ok!

Looks like the heat between the bed,and laptop had it out,and the heat may have won.
Ugh, that looks pretty scary. Seeing as there’s a good chance you would leave that device unattended.
