Have you ever been in a situation where you’re in a hurry while your pc isn’t? -by that I mean, once you click ‘Shut Down’, it decides to run into all sorts of errors and results in wanting you to report this error and so on… absolutely annoying situation to be in when you just want to leave immediately!

Well here’s a very quick but can be dangerous way to shut down your windows in a blink! All you need to do is type the command as pictured, “shutdown -f -t 0“, and your windows will automatically, force all running programs and processes to end.

You need to becareful even when you’re in a hurry before using this command because it will just shut everything running off. It would be advisable to save all your work and ensure that any opened documents have been closed before running the command as the command may force programs to close even when they’re in the middle of rewriting or saving an opened document.

Tip: You can always make this into a shortcut in your start menu or placed on your desktop by copying the command into notepad and saving it as a .bat document.
