This is absolutely one of the most ironic claims in tv commercial advertising and especially on an Audi commercial. If you’re in the UK, you may have already seen this ad on tele before, it started showing about two to three weeks ago but we love it so much we wanted to post it here as well for everyone’s enjoyment!

The R8 is, of course, anything but slow! It is the fastest production car Audi has ever produced, however each one is constructed largely by hand, it actually has the by far the slowest build process of all Audi models. With such a special manufacturing process (much like making a cricket bat of some sort!), only a limited quantity of 450 will be delivered to the UK this year and 750 in 2008, with prices starting at ?77,000!

With the recent buzz about the use of the free iPhone “jailbreakme” AppSnapp Installer for 1.1.1, we’re disappointed to say that the iPhones soon to be delivered to the UK from O2 won’t be able to take advantage of this brilliant piece of firmware breakthrough…

Apple iPhone Firmware 1.1.2

Why? It seems that from the image shown above, the iPhone which will be arriving the UK on November 9th will come with the latest firmware version 1.1.2, which means this lot will have already out-paced jailbreakme‘s recent application.

Pricing update for Nokia N95 Black…

On November 4, 2007, in Cell Phones, Latest News, by Admin Staff

Just like we mentioned in the post we published last week when the Nokia N95 Black had just launched, the line rental for the phone via Vodafone from Phones4u has gone cheaper! It’s always great news to bring out one of these posts, the Nokia N95 Black tariff is now available for £5 cheaper making it £45 per month for 750 minutes and 250 texts. The tariff itself is called Vodafone Anytime Calls Mobile Internet -18 months, therefore it has to be an 18 months contract, however the new updated special offer is that now you get unlimited mobile internet + unlimited landline calls as well!

The new Motorola ROKR U9 video preview…

On November 2, 2007, in Cell Phones, by Admin Staff

The new Motorola ROKR U9 was recent unveiled, though I have to say it does look much like a PEBL series phone just by looking at it’s egg-like oval shape, the phone itself does have some new and interesting features.

First of all the ROKR U9 will be available in black and red (as pictured), as you will see in the preview video just after the break, it has a new user menu interface different from the Motos’ that you’d expect to find today. Being mainly a music / multimedia phone, the U9 will be equipped with stereo bluetooth capability, what’s more is that the U9 will feature a music synchronisation function which will allow you to sync your music files from Windows Media Player on your PC.

Now here’s the part I like the most, the external display of the U9 features touch sensitive controls which are used as music keys. Unlike the RAZR 2 V8‘s external display controls, the U9 uses OLED which leaves the screen with a brilliant finishing touch. It looks as if there isn’t actually an external screen because it blends in so well with the clamshell casing around it.
