Here’s a video I found via Gadgettastic, the ATHLETE is NASA’s latest robot vehicle invention, designed to carry out and perform multiple tasks with its many spider-like mechanical legs and of course to make the life of astronauts much more simpler.

ATHLETE stands for All-Terrain Hex-Limbed Extra-Terrestrial Explorer… as you will see in this video guided by Brian Wilcox, NASA’s ATHLETE Principal Investigator, this robot demonstrates that it does have some athletic potential!
