Over 1200 McDonald’s restaurants in the UK will soon be offering free WiFi to all those who choose to dine in by December this year. This plan aims and hopes to attract more customers to its restaurants says the food giant’s information services vice president.

Based on the fact that in the past three years, 500 of UK’s McDonald’s restaurants have been successful in attracting more customers by providing a pay-to-surf service. So by moving on towards providing an absolute free service, McDonald’s hopes to even further extendtheir profits.

McDonald’s free WiFi service in December will be supplied by the network provider, TheCloud.net.
