BitLet.orgBack in August, we wrote a post about using BitLet.org’s bittorrent  applet, it was pointed out that a few obvious functions were missing and should really have been added to maximise user’s convenience in taking advantage of its great work and idea. Well, BitLet probably didn’t see our post, but it was probably so obvious, that the changes have actually been made recently!

BitLet.org New Added Settings

As pictured in the screenshot above, BitLet.org now offers a customisable setting (link to this can be found in the top right corner of its homepage) in which users may choose an incoming connection port of their own. “If you are behind an UPnP enabled gateway and you are natted, bitlet tries automatically to forward the incoming connection port of your router to your local machine.” Another new update is that now all downloads share the same incoming connection port, whereas before it was unique for each download window that popped up. Secondly, the option to change your default maximum upload rate is now available, this was also another thing that was noticed to be of importance earlier on.
